" We have had to make the awful decision to have our beautiful Nugget put to sleep, she was only ten years old. After having two tumours removed, one from her tongue, the other from her throat and then a course of Chemotherapy she was given nine months to live, after eighteen months the tumours returned but sadly this time nothing could be done for her.

Nugget was sired by Tavasz Felix out of Hookside Keres, she came into our lives as a beautiful eight week old puppy and never stopped showering us with love and devotion. Never shown due to being badly attacked by another dog at a show she was happiest running over the fields and through the woods. All of Nugget's offspring inherited her wonderful, loving, eager to please temperament and all are very special, just because some are shown doesn't make them any more special than the others, however a special mention for litter sisters, Bell's Roughshoot Aphrodisiac bitch CC at Crufts 2009 and Cornwall's Roughshoot Agile ShCM bitch CC and BOB Crufts 2012, not forgetting our own Sh Ch Roughshoot Calypso JW and her brother in Sweden, Olsson's Int Ch Roughshoot Casper of Sweden.

We, along with all the people who own a Nugget baby have so much to thank her for. I can honestly say that there wasn't anyone who visited us and met Nugget didn't fall in love with her, she was a very special girl, to know Nugget was to love Nugget. "
